George's Hairdressers

Since opening its doors in 1965 George's Hairdressers and its original proprietor Kikos who still works at the shop, has prided itself on offering the best haircuts and experience for men, and more recently with the introduction of Vicky, for Ladies too.

George's is now considered to be the oldest established running business in Hoddesdon and has become a landmark at its current locations.

A key factor of George's success is the fact that it attempts to maintain a loyal staff base who are experienced in their profession, as well as offering a friendly service. "Knowing our clients" and their needs is key to us and is the message that any new member that joins our team is reminded of. Care & diligence of what our clients want as well as offering our own advice is vital.


A family run business established in 1965, the staff are dedicated to providing high quality salon services for men and women, in a traditional, warm and friendly atmosphere.

With experience of haircutting for over 100 years in total, we are able to provide all types of cuts and styles, beard trims, as well as hot towel razor shaves and hair colouring.

For the men we have 3 generations of the family serving our clients, Andreas / Dino & Peter as well as Leslie.

More recently, we have introduced for the Ladies “Hair by Vicky” who has over 25 year’s experience in cutting both Men & Ladies hair and also specialises in colouring, perms, highlights and other similar services

We pride ourselves in getting to know our clients and their individual needs and making them feel part of the Georges Hairdressers family.
